Day of Pampering - November 7th

Please help the women's ministry team in collecting items for a day of caring for ladies in our community.  Please fill your bag and return it to the church by Sunday, November 2nd.

Small or travel size items like:
Powders
Perfumes Soaps
Lotions
Body wash
Bubble bath
Shampoo
Nail polish
Emery boards
Make up

Small gift items like:
Candles
Potpourri
Devotional books

Ongoing and Upcoming Events

1. Sweet Monday Groups will be starting soon...Stay tuned for more info.

2. Sweet Thursday in the Woodridge subdivision off Hwy. 33 west in Greene County – Hostess: Mary Buckner; meets every first Thursday of the month, September through June, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Call 990-0323 for more info.

3. JABA Senior Adult Ministry at the Greene County Library in Stanardsville – first Tuesday of each month, September through June, at 10:00 a.m. Volunteers are always welcome. Call Mary at 973-7473 for more info.

4. Fall 2008.  Targeting senior adults and women who might not be able to afford to “pamper” themselves, the Women’s Team is offering opportunities for free hair cuts, manicures and pedicures, massages, facials, etc. In addition, there will be door prizes; lunch will be served; and transportation will be provided. The Women’s Team is working with GRACE to find the women for this special event. For more information or to volunteer your help, contact Missy Gunther at 990-0270 or Pam McClish at 985-9884.
