Love For All - Sharing the Good News of Jesus with all of His Children
All of God’s children were created by Him
and are precious to Him!
All of God’s children need the opportunity to learn about
and experience His love and grace!
We aim to minister to families and individuals touched by special needs by sharing God's love while providing support, prayer, mentoring, resources, fellowship, and opportunities to connect with Jesus.
Throughout the year, Spring Hill hosts many fun events for families. We encourage ALL friends to participate in inclusive opportunities including Spring Fling, Vacation Bible School, Trick or Trunk, Operation Christmas Child Packing Parties, and more. We are all part of God's big family!
For additional information about these opportunities or to find your place to serve in this vital ministry, please contact the church office at (434)-973-7473 or email@example.com.
Small groups meet on Sunday mornings, 10:10-10:55 a.m. Shadows are available, on request, for any child with special needs who might need a “buddy” or “shadow” in order to be included in a preschool, children, or youth small group. We also have three self-contained classes for those with special needs where they can receive personal, individualized attention:
Game Night is for teens and adults with special needs. We play games, socialize, celebrate birthdays, share devotions and EAT! We meet the first Friday of every month (except July) from 6:30-9:00 p.m. in the Family Worship Center at Spring Hill. Registration is not required, however, it is helpful for planning purposes and in the case of schedule changes.
Take a Break
A respite care program for parents and caregivers of special needs children.
1st Saturday of every month
Kindergarten - 6th grade children with special needs and their siblings
Playground time, crafts, bible story, music, movie time. Each child will be assigned a buddy to help with these.
Dinner is provided.
There is no cost involved, but we do require registration forms to be filled out on each child with special needs.
Strength in Numbers
Strength in Numbers is an online support group for families in our community and surrounding counties to help each other find strength in daily life. Having a child with special needs is not an easy way of life, but it is something that we wouldn't change for anything. We want everyone to know that they are not alone in this world and that other parents and families have been there, and may be there right now. Join us, and you will find friends to help you through good times and bad. Think of Strength in Numbers as a "networking social group" - this isn't your "typical" support group!
