Sundays from 4:00 - 5:00 pm at Dover-Foxcroft Farm for fellowship, music, inspiration and fun! Dress warmly! Bring a chair, a mask and your friends and let's connect. (Rain or snow will cancel FUSION) fu·sion
Websters Definition: the process or result of joining two or more things together to form a single entity. Our PURPOSE for FUSION - bringing teens in our community together to form/fuse relationships with each other while building and growing in our relationship with JESUS as we love, learn and have fellowship with each other! The Spring Hill Youth Group is for 7th-12th graders. We have youth from Albemarle County, Greene County, Orange County and Madison County public and private schools! Chances are you will know someone here. Our youth ministry continues to grow and transform as we grow in our understanding and knowledge of who God is and who He calls each one of us to be. We hope that you will join us and be part of discovering the God-sized opportunities that lie ahead. SUMMER PLANNING: Thank you to those of you that took the quick 3-question survey regarding our possible summer mission trip. If you did not get a chance to do that, here it is: Survey Our leadership team will be looking at the results, praying and discussing what our options will be! Thank you for your patience.

Sunday Mornings:Our youth play an active role in Sunday morning worship services, and the style of our services make them relevant to all age groups. Our small groups are called Connection Classes for students in grades 7-12 where we are challenged with what God has to say to us through scripture, prayer and each other!
Join us in person at Dover-Foxcroft Farm at 10:15 where we meet outside (social distancing!) and discuss our Bible study as well as how God is moving in our lives. Or meet us from home via Zoom for the online Connection Class. Contact Christine Alley for more info on how to get plugged in, whether it's in person or online! This Week in the Youth Ministry
"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).
Join us for worship on Sunday to hear more on "The 3 Must-Do's" in our Christian walk. The sermon also aligns perfectly with our Connection lesson--I love it when God does that!! Typically January is the time that we are registering students for our summer mission trip and beginning our fundraisers. With continued uncertainty encircling the Covid virus and uncertainty in the timeline vaccinations will be rolled out, I realize every family has different thoughts on allowing their child to participate in a mission trip. As we pray and listen for guidance, I would also like to hear from you on what your preference would be for our summer trip. If you can fill out this 10-second, 3-question survey, that would help me to know where the majority of our parents are at this time! Click here for the Survey. If you have additional thoughts or suggestions, you can email them to me directly. Helpful information for guidelines: If we opt for an out-of-state mission trip, we will most likely go with M-Fuge since they still have 50% of our deposits from last year. If you would like to look at their Covid guidelines for camp, you can go to www.fuge.com and click on the red bar marked “new” to see the guidelines and precautions they are taking. CONNECTION SMALL GROUP This week in our Connection small groups we are discussing how God-sized goals require God-sized gratitude. Scriptures: Nehemiah 8, 9:5-31, 10:28-39, 12:27, 13:19-21; 1 Thessalonians 5:18. Questions: What is something you have achieved that wouldn't be possible without the help of other people? What do you need to thank God for today? What do you need to thank someone else for today? What's one way you can show gratitude through your actions (and not just your words) this week? How will you join us for Connection this Sunday? At 10:45 in person at Dover-Foxcroft Farm, led by the Alleys, or At 10:45 online via Zoom, led by the Sampsons Check out all the ways you and your family can join us in worship on Sundays! Covid Announcement: PLEASE bring your mask to any in-person event and stay home if you are not feeling well OR if you or anyone in your family has been exposed to Covid. BRING HOPE. SHARE CHRIST. IMPACT THE WORLD. Christine Alley Youth Minister |
