This Week in the Youth Ministry:
I walked into Walmart this week and as soon as I entered the doors, on the left were ALL the school supplies. WHAT? WHAT? Where has the summer gone? Ready or not...our students, faculty and administrators are heading back into their daily mission field! How can you support them?
PRAY: Every year I prayer walk the school campuses at the beginning of the year...keep the tradition going. Don't have time to walk the campus? How about when you drive by a school, you offer up a prayer for parents, students, teachers, support staff, administrators.... Pray for protection, wisdom and guidance.
NEW ADULT YOUTH TEAM:
Sarah Powell - point person, administrator;
Kim & Matt Norford, Meagan Maynard, Justin Kinsey and Beth & Brian Mellott - High School Teaching Team;
Matt & Michelle Price, Neil & Wendy Rutan - Middle School Teaching Team;
Matt & Michelle Price, Beth & Brian Mellott - Fusion Team
*Please be covering this team in prayer as they continue leading our students during this transition!
Check out all the ways you and your family can join us in worship on Sundays!
Our youth play an active role in Sunday morning worship services, and the style of our services make them relevant to all age groups. Our small groups are called Connection Classes for students in grades 7-12 where we are challenged with what God has to say to us through scripture, prayer and each other!

New Study beginning August 15: Have you ever wished you had more power — or influence — or control? Whether you dream about ruling the world or just wish you could get a little respect once in a while, the desire to be in charge is something we’ve all experienced. But in this 4-week series, we’ll hear about a few kings from the Bible whose stories show us power isn’t always easy to yield. Through their failures and successes, we’ll discover that...
Week 1: when you make mistakes, God can help make things right.
Week 2: when you think you know best, be humble instead.
Week 3: when you’re not sure who to listen to, ask God for guidance.
Week 4: when obedience is difficult, stay close to Jesus.
Let's bless the Sampsons this Sunday as they also transition out of youth ministry. Scott and Renee have taught and led in our youth ministry for more than ten years - that is a LONG time to serve. They have helped mentor, guide and pour into our students. I would love to shower them with love with cards, notes & gift cards.
Whew, y'all, that is a lot of information! This will probably be my last correspondence to you, BUT....you have an incredible team of adults and students that will continue leading, preparing and providing awesome opportunities for our student ministry. Thank you all SO much for allowing the Alleys to serve you and your children over the years! What a privilege and blessing it has been for us. We are humbled and so very very grateful!
"The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace." (Numbers 6:24–26)
We will always be praying for you, our students and our village of Spring Hill!
BRING HOPE. SHARE CHRIST. IMPACT THE WORLD.

The Spring Hill Youth Group is for 7th-12th graders. We have youth from Albemarle County, Greene County, Orange County and Madison County public and private schools! Chances are you will know someone here.
Our youth ministry continues to grow and transform as we grow in our understanding and knowledge of who God is and who He calls each one of us to be. We hope that you will join us and be part of discovering the God-sized opportunities that lie ahead.
